Experienced Attorney in Richmond
I was born and raised in the Commonwealth of Virginia. After graduating from Syracuse University with honors, I graduated from the University of Colorado School of Law and have been licensed to practice law in Virginia since 1992.
I am licensed to practice in the Supreme Court of Virginia, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia and the Fourth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals. I have won many serious felony trials, Motions to Suppress and have won cases on appeal.
I have a diverse civil practice that represents people with many legal needs. For those seeking social security and supplemental security (SSI) benefits, I have won numerous hearings before administrative law judges and have also won cases on the record without any need for a hearing. I also represent individuals injured through the careless and intentional acts of others. I previously represented a member of the NFL’s officiating union in matters involving the NFL and the Professional Football Referee’s Association (PFRA). I also handle all types of corporate litigation, particularly those involving franchisees. The firm has represented the Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) for more than 15 years in condemnation actions. I am now available to represent landowners against condemning authorities, including VDOT, utilities and localities, such as a city or county.
